(Strasbourg) Investing in regions to boost economic and social cohesion; use of cannabis for medicinal purposes; and artificial intelligence and robotics. These are just three of the items on the agenda of the European Parliament’s plenary session that is starting in Strasbourg at 5pm today (until Thursday, 14 February). Tomorrow afternoon (at 5pm), Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is due to debate the future of Europe. The work of the plenary will be preceded by the inauguration this afternoon of the EP’s Radio Studio 1 named after Antonio Megalizzi and Bartosz Orent-Niedzielski, the two young journalists who were murdered two months ago, during the terrorist attack in Strasbourg on 11 December. President Tajani will unveil a commemorative plaque in the presence of some relatives of the journalists and colleagues at Europhonica (4.30pm). At 5.30pm, a press conference will be held in the “Daphne Caruana Galizia” press room at the European Parliament in Strasbourg to announce that Europhonica, the project promoted by RadUni and the European network of university radios, will resume its broadcasting. 
Attending the event will be, among others, Europhonica’s editors-in-chief Catherine Moser, Clara Stevanato and Andrea Fioravanti.
