Two international apostolic journeys and four jubilee events in addition to the final ceremony – these are the highlights on the agenda of the celebrations to be presided over by Pope Francis from September to November 2016, as announced today by the Holy See Press Office. The Pope will be in Georgia and Azerbaijan from 30 September to 2 October, and then in Sweden, from 31 October to 1 November, to participate in the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. At the first two events, the Pope will celebrate Mass in St. Peter’s Square at 10.30am.
