Germany: on-line address book of the Catholic Church. Dioceses, religious and lay institutions, media

A powerful instrument for communication, exchange and work: after thirty years, the German Bishops’ Conference (DBK) has published a new version of the “Address Book of Catholic Germany”. All you need to know about the Church in Germany and international Church institutions is now available online free of charge at: http://www.katholische-adressen.de/. The online address book will be regularly updated with the names and responsibilities of people working for the Church in Germany and abroad, with the cooperation of those who will make it even more practical and detailed. In the last few weeks, over 5,000 entries have been added and updated. The design, clear and simple, enables users to find addresses, phone numbers, and emails in various areas, as in the previous paper biennial edition: Church in Europe; German Dioceses; German Bishops’ Conference; Orders, Secular Institutes and Other Spiritual Communities; Lay Organisations, particularly the Central Committee of German Catholics (ZDK); Areas of Work (formation and science, Caritas and social affairs, liturgy and sacred music, mass media, migration, pastoral care, and universal Church); Religious Institutions and Provincial Associations.
