Comece: Brussels, meeting on “Life-Work balance 4.0: challenges in the digital era”

“Life-Work balance 4.0: challenges in the digital era”: this is the subject of a one-day meeting due to take place in Brussels on 15th November at the initiative of the Commission of the EU Bishops Conferences (Comece) and the associations that belong to the “European Sunday Alliance” (Esa). The basic assumption of the meeting, the organisers explain, is “the digital era that is changing our societies in many different ways: new forms of employment and new professions are born, while others disappear and our communication modes change”. The buzzword here is: flexibility. All this obviously has an impact on private life, on people’s everyday family and social life. The meeting, which will be held n the HQ of the European Economic and Social Committee (Eesc), will bring in delegates of Comece and Esa, as well as MEPs (Evelyn Regner and Thomas Mann) and EESC members.
